Assigning key combos for Expose?

I've got a powerbook that uses my first few function keys for monitor and sound control. I ilke having my expose keys on the left side of my keyboards because I navigate the trackpad with my right hand.

Is there some way to assign key combos for the Expose features other than those provided within the control pane? I've tried doing shift F1 and such, but it won't work.

The most convenient keys would be to use shift combinations of the command and option keys or fn+option and fn+command. (I'm already using the fn key for one Expose command)

I'm not aware that you can change your settings to respond to key combos, only single keystrokes. You are able to change the defaults (F9,10,11) to something different such as F1,2,3, but since you already use those for things, try F5,6,7. Right in the middle, you'll get used to it eventually.
