Network Monitoring Tools
My powerbook connects to the internet through a wireless router which in turn is connected to a cable modem.
We have been having trouble with the internet connection recently (exceedingly slow/dropping out) and want to diagnose the problem; that is we need to know if the bandwidth is being hogged by one of our housemates (he is something of a recluse so asking him is difficult) or if it's a problem with our cable company.
So what i want to know is are there any inbuilt utilities in OSX for monitoring traffic on our network or does anyone know of any shareware/freeware apps that will allow us to see what's going on.
Thanks
