slow window update?

When I resave a file from an app and go to a Finder window of that folder set to list by date, I invariably end up then double clicking the worng file as the window is so slow updating to reflect the latest save. In fact I've noticed it takes a click before the changes just made are reflected in the finder.



Since I'm running 10.3 on a Dual 1.42 G4, I doubt it's the processor speed. It's very irritating. Has anyone else noticed this?

    after stealing fast-user switching i really wish they'd take the F5 refresh from windows.



    about the only feature i miss from my PC.

    OMFG don't tell me that problem is still in Panther?! This is ridiculous!
