Buying advice - cheap combo drive

I am looking for some help finding the cheapest (not fastest) fully (iTunes, Finder, Disc Utility, DVD Player) Panther compatible CD-R/DVD "Combo Drive" style disc burner for my G4 Dual 500 AGP graphics mac.



I'm not at all concerned with speed - I just want to be able to play DVD's and burn cd's in iTunes and the Finder.



Anyone with model suggestions or trades? I have a stock DVD-RAM drive and an Orinoco Gold 802.11b wireless card to trade.

    Try the drive compatibility database at XLR8yourmac.com to check for drive compatibility. You can select any criteria you want - it might be a good idea to look not only at "G4 Dual CPU" systems but also at other G4 systems because they should all work equally well in OS X. A popular one seems to be the LG GCC-4480B, which is 48x24x48x + 16x DVD-ROM, and supported under Jaguar and Panther.
