52 X -to- 4200hd???

Question:



I have a new iBook G4 it has a 4200rpm hd

If I buy a 52x external burner + have 52x speed meida can a 4200rpm laptop hard drive keep up or is the 4200rpm much faster..... any help?

    52x = 7.8 MB/s ... Your HDD is plenty capable of that.
