I thought the Superdrive burned at 2X.
MPEG 2 encoding aside that means it should take 30 minutes to burn a normal 60minute DVD at least compression no?

120 minutes to encode (1/2x)
30 minutes to burn it to DVD (2x)
for a total of 150 minutes of "actual time" to do it?
But, you're saying that it only takes 60 minutes to encode 60 minutes of video on your dual 800, BRussel?
Is that 2x that Steve talked about (really 1/2x though) just for a certain machine that was out at that time, and it depends on the machine used?
Like a 500 MHz G4 does it at 1/2x and a dual 800 does it in closer to real time (1 for 1)?
