Boards have worked perfectly for me all night.

Zap your PRAM and make sure it's plugged in.

Ha ha...really funny ... but the forums had a note posted. The first said something like :

" We will be temporarily off-line..call back in a few minutes "

Then 2 hours later the message was something like.

"we may be a away for a little longer than expected: try a little later"

The final one some five hours later said something cryptic like ....

" A longer way than that "...Very Obi~Wan~ish.

I just figure you guys need to install an Xserver...

    end of story.

    PS:

Pram....Its illegal in our state to "Zap" Prams !

Then, after the index hung several times (and I saw that one of the threads it was hanging on was the MWSF02 speculation thread):

Damn, I was sure you guys were getting ready to announce the new dual G5 iMacs and quad-core G6 PowerMacs for Apple, by proxy.

Argh I forgot to mention the tablet, the PDA, and the iTivo.

5-6 hours is a long outage?

Kid, when I was a kid AI went south 5-6 month at the time. And this was before television and sex was invented so we had to stare at a blank Excel sheet to make time go faster.

I remember a HUGE blackout a few years ago. It went for months and months and I joined MacNN, OrangeInsider and Bad Flamingo, just to have somewhere to hang out.
