Open & Save Panels take aages to appear!

Has anyone else had problems with the Open and Save panels?



On both my eMac (800 MHz, 1 GB RAM) and my PowerBook 12" (512 MB RAM) it takes at least 10 to 15 seconds for the panel to appear when trying to open or save a document/web page/email/anything!



I've got the local iDisk copy, but surely that shouldn't cause a problem - if it is the cause - it's a big problem.

    It's fast for me. On my Beige G3 266 it takes 2 seconds TOPS.

    2 seconds is ages in my book. Seems a little sluggish to me too.

    Do either/both of you have the Local iDisk syncing?
