Printer Setup doesn't want to add my printer

I have an Epson Stylus Photo 750 and i can't get 10.3.1 to add it to my list. i get this message. This is an improvement on an hour ago when it wouldn't even see the damn thing. I've deleted and re-installed the whole Epson set that came with Panther and tried just the individual driver from the Epson site. All to no avail. The driver works fine under 10.2.8.
