iChatAV......HTTP tunnel connection unexpectedly closed

This is a new problem I am having since upgrading from 10.2.8 to 10.3.1.



When using iChatAV at work behind the firewall it will disconnect every three to five minutes and display the following.







These are my proxy settings in iChatAV







Has anyone else had any problems like this since the upgrade to Panther and does anyone have any idea how to make this problem go away?

    check to make sure your software firewall is allowing traffic on iChat ports

    in System Prefs > Sharing > Firewall.



    if you don't see iChat/AIM 5190 listed add it using the button.



    perhaps your office firewall (hardware) specifically blocks it

    Thanks for the quick reply. My iBook firewall is turned on. iChat Rendevous (5297,5298) was turned on but not the one you suggested. I have now turned on iChat/AIM 5190. I will try it again tomorrow while at work. Using the current settings I am able to use iChat but I have to log back on every three to five minutes. Prior to upgrading this was not a problem. The corporate firewall has not changed.
