Every time I check <a href="http://www.macsurfer.com"; target="_blank">Mac Surfer</a>, there's another excellent iMac review.



Nice to see, and it helps to pass the time while I'm waiting for mine.

I read it and I think the author is really misguided. He says some good things about the iMac and some inapropriate things about it and Apple as well.

Nor do I, although I can see where -@- got the idea that the tone is mocking - the prose is rather overripe, and some of the similes are well over the top (Chartes?!).



I get the feeling that they were intended sincerely, however.

Well, I just skimmed it, but it seems to be extremely poor writing. It's hard to decide exactly what they are saying.



I guess it's that it is SO melodramatic. Is that for sarcasm or emaphasis? Too may cliches, too much everything. <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

A little tongue-in-cheek, I think. The title says it all. Don't take it too seriously and it's kind of humorous, actually. A different take on the new machine, the whole introduction and all. Nice piece.
