10.3 on a Beige

Good news for those of us who are using the still very capable Beige G3s. I looks like XpostFacto 3 will be supporting our Macs soon. According to the site, the issue lies with the on-board video.

Amen! My upgraded Beige has plenty of life left in it.

    Well thank you Keda, you just addressed a problem a buddy of mine was having. I have him my old Beige G3, and he wants to run Panther (of course). I was afraid I had to tell him no..but if he is willing to experiment with me..then this looks promising. Thanks!

    Im psyched! I just got back in the country and haven't bought 10.3 for my 12" yet. I had all but given up on my good ol' Beige. Whoot!



    I've been eyeing the forums over there. hopefully this will come out before too long.

    Long waited XPF3.0a9 surfaced with beige G3 and wallstreet limitted support for Panther.



    For those with beige G3, the Panther upgrade only seems to work with PCI graphic card equipped G3. Onboard video support will have to wait.

    I have a 3dfx Voodoo 5500. I'm pretty sure it is not supported too.



    Of course it it is, I prefer my crow with BBQ sauce and a side of mash potatoes.
