Apple should come out with color stuff again. Key lime was the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Sage. I love my Smurf G3. I guess they'll never come out with yellow for the obvious connotations..

MacSkinz (previously AppleSkinz) has been doing something similar for quite some time, but MacSkinz's are user replaceable and not permanent. They cover the iBooks, PowerBooks, and iPods as well as G4 and G5 towers. They even sell transparent "skinz" that you can paint yourself.

Another Mac guy at work was carrying around one of these just yesterday, in fact:

Very Cool...but one of the best aesthetic features of the new AluBooks is that the keyboard blends so well with the rest of the book.

and the colorware doesn't seem to do anything to the keyboards, creating some wonky looks.

I might have to go for one of these being in the medical field as I am. I hate the first one though, reminds me of hazmat...some of the worst stuff I have ever experienced.
