Options for CD Printers

Hope this is in the correct forum....I'm looking for a printer that will print directly onto CDs so I can do away with those anoying stick-on labels. I already have a printer that I'm happy with for text, etc, but don't want to spend $1200-$3000 for one of the mass duplication/printing machines. What other options are out there in the $500 and less range? I've seen one or two advertised that are basically regular printers that also do CDs, which would be fine (although somewhat redundant). What I'd like most is one that only does CDs, but I'll take what I can get. Speed is not realy an issue, but I'd lie to get a decent print quality if possible.
