After kernel panic (first one in looooong time) i can't boot my comp.

I mean i can do it in safe mode, but not in 'normal' mode.

Sometimes it allows me to log-in then just hangs. Not spinning, just hangs.. weird, other times i got this:

(sorry for the quality of these, but i took 'em with my phone)

any ideas?

You just met Colonel Panic. He's a bit grouchy, but reinstalling OS X and upgrading your firmware sometimes helps.

Colonel looks a bit different, this seems to be somewhat hardware related. (probably wrong place for this thread then, sorry), and what firmware were you referring to sir?

It's 15" AL, the only firmware than can be upgraded on it it's bluetooth.

Do you have a hardware test CD?

That looks like hardware from here, or possibly firmware. That's a really low-level blow-up.

    Moving to Genius Bar.

    dfryer, i don't.

i removed an additional 512 RAM, and now it boots..

Never had that before, either Ram was bad from the beginning, or it was working fine, i never had RAM gone bad.

Hey at least i know what that is.

    Thanks.
