3g ipod

Does anyone know of some sort of hack, or piece of software that allows 3G ipods to be used with OS 9. Any info would be great. thanks.

    Get OS X. Thats the easiest way. Or find an old version of the iPod software for OS 9. I'm not sure if that would work however because the 3G iPods came out after os 9 was dead.

    I've looked into the os x setup, and it isn't the easiest way to go for me. I have a g3 All-in-one. and eventhough it it rev b and claims to support slave drives, it doesn't. Not well at least. anyway, I don't have a good way of backing up all the data on my internal HD so that i can install os x onto the first 8 gigs, before moving the data back again.

    Look into an external FW disk or get a larger internal drive. You can do an external FW drive setup for real cheap if you do a separate drive and enclosure. Look into that. OS X kicks 9s butt.
