download a website

what software can i use to download an entire site that i want to archive

    You can with IE i know for sure. I think it's just File save, and then you get a bunch of options for how many levels down you want to go, if you want to download graphics/video. As I remember, it's like subcribing to a website, then when you update the subscription, you archive the whole site to your HD. I'd just make sure the site you're trying to download can fit on your computer.

    i know there are programs that allow you to grab a whole site all at once. i know i saw it discussed somewhere on AI

    SiteSucker. I haven't used it, but it supposedly does exactly what you want.

    I use an app called WebGrabber, which probably does much the same thing sitesucker does.
