That doesn't sound bad at all considering the only difference is 256 MB of RAM and the optical drive, right?



Though Smalldog has 512 MB DVD-ROM PowerBooks G4 667 for $2449 and only sales tax in Vermont...

    Yeah, they're blowing them out. You can also get a G4/550 Titanium for $1699

    Both prices are quite good, IMO. CompUSA has the 667 for $2799 for example.

    Eh, Circuit City is an authorized dealer...warranty, tech support is standard fare.



    Aven gray market purchased Macs will get warranty work done at Apple Specialists now...

    wow wow this is amazing, i just bought a 933 but maby i can figure out a way to get a ti book also. Amazing the best of both worlds. I guess Circuit city knows the new powerbooks are comming out but no one else does? heh

    Ha! this is great... I am actually looking online to buy one right now and I was thinking I was going to have to settle with the 550 because of the prices. I came to this board to ask if anyone knew if the 550-667 DVD powerbooks come with the ATI Radeon Mobility? Can anyone help? Thanks

    Every version of the PowerBook G4 550 and 667 MHz has Radeon Mobility. AFAIK, the only two differences are the RAM and the optical drives.
