G Force 4 Ti in the UK?

I was about to place my order for a new dual 1ghz Powermac from the Applestore UK, when I saw that the Ti GForce 4 was introduced as a BTO in the States...I'm not a heavy gamer (although have been know to dabble ), but work wise (graphic design and 3d stuff) I guess it would make a fair bit of difference...

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for BTO options to filter to the UK?? I telephoned the Applestore UK, and they didn't even know it was on offer for the USA machines and could give no info...they even thought I was joking at the start and said I was obviously confusing the Ti with the MX!!

Also, if it takes about 6-8 weeks to get a BTO machine with a G force 4 Ti... This can't bode well for the people putting forward the theory that the current PowerMac is a stop-gap for 3 or 4 months (as per Yikes!) until a new Mobo G4 or G5 is announced..Could this be an indication that there are going to be no new Powermacs for a good while??

Cheers,

Marcus
