Over the Hill and Through Europe

As this is my senior year, this summer I'd like to go somewhere this summer on vacation, and I can't really think of too much cooler then going across Europe. My friend and I talked about it and agree it would be cool, so I was wondering if anyone would be willing to put me up for a night or two. It isn't necessary but it would be nice to help ease the cost. I'm not sure this is what I'm doing yet, but I just wanted to get an idea to see if anyone would be willing.

...if you look and I'm sleeping with a the dresser in front of the door remember that I don't know YOU either

Depending on my situation and whereabouts come summer, I might be able and willing to accomodate you.

Be a man. I had to sleep in the parks a time or two, you can do the same! Contrary to popular belief, train stations aren't actually very comfortable or clean either, but you can catch a few hours of sleep.

Same here. Parks in Barcelona that closed at night and were guarded by dogs. That was a scary wake-up in the middle of the night!

But it's true, if you play it out good, maybe pack a small tent for the two of you, you can usually crash in some wooded area on the outskirts of a big city. Just take the subway to one of the last stops on a certain line, and walk around some.

Waking up to growling dogs, sleeping in closed to the public parks. I'd rather do it the legal way for the most part.

Thanks to all those that have said something I don't know if I'm going to yet because senior week may cost too much, but I'd love to (maybe even screw senior week so I have the funds)

I just wanted to get an idea if I'd have a chance to stay with anyone

Well if you come near my town in the center of France you are welcome, and will not oblige to sleep in my garden

Unfortunately, if the nature is beautiful around here, i don't think it's the best place to visit in France.

You should better visit in no particular order :

    - Paris

    - Lyon and make a small travel to the alps.

    - The Basque countrie from Biarritz (France) to San Sebiastan (try to east some tappas there).

Play your cards right and you might be able to pay for a night's lodging or two by tending bar or sweeping up. Lots of people do that.

Do you have any family in Europe? I am going to Greece this summer, and I have family in Greece, so that will make my trip easier and less expensive since I will be staying with them. All I am saving up for is the airplane to Greece, and for the airplane ticket for a "holiday" we are taking to Sweden apparently.

I don't know, I mean I'm sure I have relatives, but I'll be damned if I know who they are.
