I can't verify the claims in other posts about the iPod battery, but the movie above is entertaining nonetheless.

So that's all this is? A rumor? Because I just got a 10 GB iPod and I don't want that to happen to me.

    Don't sweat it.

Look at it this way - With any battery operated device there will be a small percentage of failures.

And even if yours does happen to fail you can get a replacement for $49 if it's out of warranty.

    It's not a big deal.

I'm not worrying anymore lol I'm just curious so if the need arises I'll know how reliable my replacements'll be. And as I type this my iPod is playing music. ^_^

    Excellent.

I'm waiting until MacWorld, then I'll grab my iPod.

That movie is great. I laughed hard the whole time. I can really feel his quiet, harnessed anger, and it's just so funny.

It was on the SeattleTime yesterday. My dad talked about it..

at least my 10GB iPod (touch-wheel) still gets in between 8 to 10hrs of playback. I bought it in Aug/2002.

OMG... The WB (the TV channel) just had an article on its 10 'o'clock news saying that the iPod's battery can't be recharged... and they were showing the freaking ORIGINAL MODELS! They suck... They don't know the difference between the new and the old it seems...

yup my mom heard the little blurb for it and said "Paul look, they said the iPod has a dirty secret inside of it!!"

(for my mom) I told her that she shouldn't believe everything she sees on TV... the news especially...

(for the WB)... I didn't watch the segment, but based on your description I'm glad I didn't... I probably would have thrown something at the TV...

at least they waited until after the holidays...
