sources point to developments on the eMagic front which they say will emerge during Jobs' keynote. While sources confirmed the announcements will concern music compositing software, it's unclear whether they will involve an upgrade to Logic Platinum 6, the pro music production software Apple acquired when it bought eMagic in July 2002.

Got me thinking that maybe Apple will add waveburner to the iLife suite of apps.

    Well the wizzy on the strizzy is that Apple may be creating a full fledged Digital Audio Workstation to compete with the likes of ProTools etc.

    I wouldn't expect this to come to MWSF but rather NAMM later on in the month. I can't wait!
