Panther on a PB?

Ok, on the PowerBook site, it says that it comes with panther but the pic has the jaguar desktop????????????





why is this???????











does it come with panther or jaguar?

    It actually comes with Mac OS 8.6. Weird, huh?

    I dunno.. but that is the same exact desktop panther has for me . They either have panther already installed, or they give you a comp with jaguar on it and cd's to upgrade it to panther.

    Bought mine a few days ago and it came with Panther.

    Those images were posted on the site prior to Panther being released and they just have not been updated.
