I just got an AEBS and I want to use it to share a DSL connection between a Toshiba Notebook with a Toshiba Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card running XP Home and a B&W G3 350.

I have the G3 connected to the base station with an ethernet cable (no problems, internet works fine). But the PC isnt communicating with AEBS, it keeps saying that the wireless connection is unavailable.

Because my Mac is connected though ethernet I dont have Airport available in the network control panel and I check the signal stength.

Im trying to find out if the problem is with the PC or the AEBS but because the PC doesnt see it I have no Idea if its even working.

Anybody got any ideas?

did u try the Airport Extreme Admin utility?

also make sure that your AirportBS is not set to closed network.

make sure that your AiportBS is set 802.11b/g compatible.

(you did not say if u had B or G)

the last thing i can think off is make sure that no Mac address is enter in the AirportBS.
