new pro audio app: 5.1 encoding

i sure hope the new pro audio app is a simple, easy to use 5.1 encoder. i thought of an awesome way to make it easy, but its sorta complex and i dont feel like typing that much right now. but anyways, it'd be so simple, and how awesome would it be to have home videos in 5.1

    Home videos are usually recorded with a shitty on-board mic anyway...5.1 sound would just mean poor sound quality, except you hear it all around you...

    Good luck capturing audio in 5.1. Editing isn't the problem here.

    ok, let me try again. obviously you cant truly make 5.1 with home videos, but for like those dumb movies you make with your friends. i know the audio would have to be recorded separately, and i can do that, but i dont like a.pack at all... there are better ways to throw sound around.
