different iPod Backlight color?

Has anyone noticed the backlight color on the iPod has changed? The one on the right was purchased in mid- October and the one on the left is brand new...







For what it's worth, the clicker noises are different too.



Anyone have any thoughts?

    The one on the left looks better imo, especially with the red buttons.

    Thats very strange. I hadn't noticed that. Why would something like that happen?

    do a search in DH... I'm pretty sure that was spotted soon after the 3rd gen came out... i think the first batch was the one on the right and everything after was the bluer one...

    I bought an iPod in May (just after the new ones came out) and it had a white backlight. Sometime in November (I think) it broke and I sent it in and got a replacement, which has a blue backlight. I like my new one more.

    No it's not, it's YOUR fault for not changing the white balance setting on you camera!
