I just downloaded 'Flying without Wings' and I want to use it on my 'RCA LYRA' mp3 player. It's plugged in, and I looked at the song I downloaded, and it says it's in a AAC format? Can I change it to mp3?

nope unfortunately you, you're probably screwed, you could try recording it into a aif, or wave file, then re-encoding it too .mp3, you'll lose a little quality, but on that particular mp3 player you can't tell the difference really.

I'll just say what everyone is thinking. You shoulda got an iPod. But seriously though, kraig911 is right. Most Mp3 players are just that, an Mp3 player. Music that comes from the iTMS is in a locked AAC format with the tag .m4p (music that you encode in AAC format is in .m4a format). Most digital music players aren't compatible with .m4a/p. So your gonna have to re encode the songs if you want them on your player...or you could just do the smart thing and get an iPod.

Note: In the future, iTunes stuff should be in digital hub.

One option you have is to burn the song out to a regular Audio CD and rip that CD into mp3 format...if you have the ability to do so.

Consider it divine intervention. No one should be allowed to listen to that tripe anyway. Just kidding.... See the previous posts for how to get it into mp3 format.

Ok, last night I thought about the Audio CD method (Before anyone responded), so I burned it to a CD-RW, and it's in the process of converting it to an mp3 (THANK YOU dBpowerAMP!!). It's been 12 1/2 minutes to rip 54%, but I'll wait and hopefully it'll work

You know, you can just use iTunes to burn an audio cd. And you can rip it back in as an mp3. All without leaving the program. No need for other programs.
