Soundbug cool new tech

wow, I have finally found the perfect portable speakers for my powerbook. I complained of how soft the speakers are and how they can't get a loud volume out of them. then I was reading through popular science and I found this nifty gadget. Its called Soundbug and it claims to be able to turn any smooth hard surface into a speaker. I found some today at my local Fry's Electronics and bought one... It... is... AWESOME! Of course, don't expect the best acuestics from it, but its incredible how I can just stick it onto my table and change it into a speaker, and according to their site it can go up to 75 dbi, much louder then my laptop for sure. Also, it goes to sleep automatically after a small time so you don't waste its batts (3 AAA). I was wondering if anyone else ever tried this product before... needless to say, I'm going back tommorrow to get a 2nd one to make it stereo sound... hehehe I got them for 14 bucks a pop... good price, their usually 40 bucks each.

their website is a bit vague, so here's a link so someone who reviewed it.

    They are last years tech

Actually when they came out I thought about getting them because I thought they'd be cool, but I decided not to because I really questioned the quality of sound they could create.

Wow, 75dB is something to write home about. Really, it is. I've never heard of a speaker that can only do 75dB. I'm pretty sure that the case speaker in my el-cheapo PC could do at least 85dB (not that I'd want it to). Volume isn't everything though, and I can think of more than one situation in which it would be nice not to have to worry about making too much noise. It looks pretty neat. I think I might go get one.

Well not everyone wants to make their ears bleed I went with Pro Speakers and iSub because the offered good sound, if I wanted 115db I would have hooked up my stereo instead.

Oh and by the way, $14 a pop is awesome!

ACK!! 115dB is way too loud. I try to avoid running anything more than 95dB, but even that's a bit too loud for my tastes. I haven't read much about the iSub, but I do know that the Pro Speakers are really good.
