Microsoft Word Trouble!?

I have Word with my Mac running 10.3. When I save a word file on my computer, it opens fine but when I try to open the word document on a PC I almost always have trouble. Do you guys have any suggestions for me...?? Thank you very much.

    Are you saving the word doc with the .doc extension attached?

    Sorry I didn't specify. Yes I have trouble when I use the extension .doc

    What version of word are you using on the PeeCee? If it's an older version you may have to save the word doc in an older version.

    Are you e-mailing the file to your PC? If so (and if you're using Mail) be sure to click the "Windows friendly attachments" option. To see this you have to browse to the attachment, not just drag-and-drop.
