...reinstall ALL the software on two seperate voulmes ?

I've read that as long as OS X and 9 are installed on two separate voulmes, I can hold down the Option key and choose which to boot from.

So using the OS X and 9 CD's that came with the iMac I have reformatted my 60GB drive into two 10GB volumes for each OS and left the rest as a single volume.

All seems fine except that I don't appear to have all my software that I would have if I had gone through the 'Software Restore' CD's.

The main ones I want to get back are iDVD and Appleworks as there's no way I can download them from Apple. However the fact that there are SIX software restore CD's must mean that there are other titles that I've not got either by installing this way.

Does anyone know a way around this ? I can't see any way of the 'restore' CD's being installed on anything but a single volume.

Is there anyway of 'accessing' the programs on the restore CD individually ?

Hope someone can help !
