ABS dropping DHP under Panther

I have been having this issue for a few weeks now. After being online via a snow ABS all the Mac connected drop their internet connection. They can't get an IP address from it anymore. It only affects 10.3 machines. I poked around Apple's support forums and found this, but their suggestions are to disable rendezvous messaging in iChat and or downgrading to 4.0.7, but neither of these have alleviated the problem. Any AIers have any suggestions?
