Boot Up Screen

Where in the innards of OSX can I find that ultra simple, yet irresistibly cool looking Apple logo boot screen, so I can make it my background image?

    MacBoot

That will work I THINK. Not sure how it will work with panther, haven't tried it.

I know www.resexcellence.com used to provide a nice indepth page on how and what is going on. But I can't say if they have it up, or if it works with panther.

hmmm I think Dan wants the actual boot image that is there now, so he can make it his desktop....

but I would be interested in changing both the boot image (the one with the apple logo and throbber) and blue loading screen (the one with the progress bar) to my current desktop picture... will those two links help me?

(of course right now I don't see either of these screens because A I boot in verbose mode and B I never restart )

it would be really nice if the tools are dynamic and change the boot images to my desktop pic even if I change it afterwards...
