networking with Windows flaky under 10.3
Windows networking seems to have taken a step backward for me under X.3. Under X.2 I rarely had a problem connecting to shared folders on my father's PIII running Windows ME. Now it's a 50/50 shot on whether or not his computer is even going to show up in my finder window. Does anyone know why this is or what I should do about it? Normally I attribute all flaky network behavior to Windows being its usual charming self, but since it worked just fine with X.2 I am disinclined to believe that this time around.
