imac orders

Has anyone ordered a 700mhz imac with CD/DVD drive? Is apple even close to begin shipping by end of February? I'm planning on ordering a 700mhz CD (low-end) imac and am wondering if their original production schedule will be met. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

I ordered the 700Mhz CD/DVD and the shipping time was the same as the 800Mhz, the low end is the one that ships later

No idea, but keeping my fingers crossed. I ordered my CDRW model on Jan 15. Still hoping it will ship by the end of March, if not before. The superdrive model seems to be so hot, it makes me wonder if the low end might be "put off for awhile."

I have the same question. Are any lower end iMacs shipping? Is Apple caught in a snag? Do they have only one production facility?

I placed an order for the 700mghz CD/DVD imac on Jan 7th (The day it was introduced)and have not recieved anything yet! I then called Apple custumer service. Their responce was "Call back next week". They said that their is no delay in production and would e-mail me when they either send it or a delay. One currios note, I called Mac Whearhouse and asked how long it would take to get one if I ordered today. They said "A week to a week and a half" Who is pulling my chain? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
