I want to use carbon copy and make a copy of my 15inch Al PB to my 15inch TiPB. How to I get the older PB to boot up as a spare HD?

Look under the Help topic "Target Disk Mode".
With your new computer on and the two computers linked with a firewire cable, start your old computer while holding down the "T" key.

Wow, deceptive thread title. I though you were using the old PB for just storage. I would have cried at the waste of a good mac
