My brother has a Dell inspiron 8600 with the latest version of iTunes on it. He tried to connect to the iTMS and it gave him the message "iTunes could not connect to the music store. An unknown error occoured(403). Make sure your network connection is active and try again."

The computer is connected wirelessly to a Netgear router that is working correctly (all other wirelss computers in my house can connect just fine). The dell can connect to the internet, as well as see and play other iTunes users playlists, but will not connect to the iTMS or acces intenet radio. What is the problem here? He wants to use the iTMS as well as listen to internet radio on his dell, but can not. Anyone know what to do about this?

Sorry if this question has been answered before, I didn't have time to go searching through the fourums right now.

Check to see if he's running a firewall on his laptop... I remember having this problem for the first day or two, and I eventually found out online somewhere that Norton Firewall was causing the problem. After I disabled Norton Firewall it worked fine.

Funny thing: I was that the apple store in ATL tonight and there was a woman at the Genius Bar with the exact same problem. They didn't get it resolved while I was there so I don't know what they ended up doing (if anything). Sounds like a problem that's not just isolated to your brother though.
