Airport performance in mixed mode

I'm wondering if setting my AEBS to support both b/g--I want to hook up my Tivo--will slow down my overall network speed? I'd hate to have my PB (which I use daily) relegated to 11b speeds just in an effort to swap the phone-connection on my Tivo for a wireless one...

    There is a small slowdown, but you probably won't even notice.



    I wonder when Apple is going to enable turbo mode in the AE firmware...
