iDVD 4 on a Dual 533 G4?

I was just about to order iLife '04 here, and noticed for the first time that it requires a 733MHz G4.



iDVD 3 runs just fine on this machine, so do you think they really changed it so much that a Dual 533 can't handle it?



I wonder if it just won't be "optimal", or if it will see that I have 533MHz processors and stop installation. Hmm.

    i bet it would work...and you have to get iLife4 just for garageband anyway



    you can always skip the iDVD4 install intill you get a new computer (should only be a couple of weeks anyways )

    I have had a lot of success using apps with a 733Mhz minimum on my Dual 533. Maybe the previews will be a little glitchy, but the DVD will come out fine. I run Digital Performer on mine as well, so I don't see why Garage Band wouldn't work.



    Halo, however, totally rejected my Dual 533.
