checking on hard drive speeds

Does anyone know of a way to check on a drive's RPM from the software POV? I'm just too lazy to open the case and look so it's not big deal, just curious...

    Just find the Serial Number from inside The Apple Profiler. and head on over to the manufactures web page. You can check the info there too.
