I catch it on a fairly regular basis, maybe once every two weeks or more. It's sort of MST3K with a bad (stereotypical) Japanese game show as the movie instead. It tends to be a little too dependent on scatology for some laughs, but it's really funny most of the time. I can't imagine what the real hosts are saying though, especially after the more painful eliminations. If it weren't for the running commentary, I would almost feel sorry for those people.
The best jokes are the voiceovers they give to the contestants just before they actually start their, uh, stunt. Stuff like, "I live with my parents!" and, "I'm carrying my eight-sided die for good luck!"
I've seen it a few times, mostly at the ex girlfriend's house, cause I don't have cable. Show is definitely funny. I enjoyed every minute of the few that I saw.

yes I watch the show.
my favorite part is probably that they don't translate, they just add banter 8)
good stuff.
Anyway, the commentary is the real gem.

No you're not, stop be so damned strict!!
That show does rule. Basically all I watch up at college.
The commentary makes the show, but sometimes contestants do some ridiculously stupid things.
"Wouldn't it be cool to have giant teeth like that?"
"She tried to catch the ball with her face, that's the problem. She should have tried using her hands."
