Removing iPod 1.3.1 from Software Update.

Is there a way I can remove the entry for iPod Software 1.3.1 from Software Update? It's surplus to requirements now that I have an iPod running the 2.1 software .

    Go to Software Update, click check now, and then select the update you want to remove. Click the name, not the check box. After that, just go to the Update menu and select "Remove Update."

    Thanks for that - I didn't know you could do that . However, when I select "Ignore Update", I get the following message:



    Quote:

    You will no longer be notified of new versions of this update. To see this update again, choose Reset Ignored Updates from the application menu.



    If I select ignore, will I miss out on future updates to the 2.1 iPod software I currently have?

    no, just the 1.x updates... thats why you saw 1.3.1 and 2.1 updates at the same time...
