aol software installed

hi all!

my friend use aol dial-up at home (G4 ibook). so she installed the aol software. everytime when she login the computer, aol automatically starts up. everytime when the wake from sleep, aol starts everytimes.

how to ignor this start up? i check the pref. for her but no option the uncheck the auto start up.

plz help!

    Well if she is running Panther, open up System Preferences, Go to Account, Select her user account, click on the Startup Items tab, then delete AOL from the list.



    In Jaguar, there is a similar panel under System Preferences, My Account.

    ya.. she uses dial-up at home... (just check email or ichat...)

    but in office use T1.. so she downloads things in office. shhhh....
