i figure you might be kidding, but just in case, do NOT do this. i had to set my clock back for a date sensitive install (it was actually recommended by the developers -- their serial system was tied to the date of registration), and i forgot to put it back.
everything went weird.
the most annoying thing was how dependent safari is on the date and time setting. every page would display as old without a refresh. even posting to this boards was a headache, as each edit would pull up a post much older than the one i intended to edit. i also got a rash of "application has unexpectedly quit." at first, i thought it was the mac os x update i had just installed, so i nuked the whole system and started over again, but the problem persisted, because the date/time was retained through the reinstall. ugh.
needless to say, tinkering with your date to mess with installers is not the best idea anymore.
Apple told you from day one that iChat AV would expire. There's no reason to act surprised about it. If you didn't read Apple's web site or the license agreement or any of the hundreds of web pages across the Internet talking about iChat AV before you installed it, that's your own fault.
I don't use iChat AV, i just was surprised that betas expired.

It wont work though - well it wouldn't with M$ Office trial, do you have to set it forward when you install it and then back afterwards?
