itunes music store = error -25294
hey guys -
need some assistance here for a weird networking/music store problem. just got my pismo (osx 10.3.2 and itunes 4.2) set up with charter pipeline internet. works great, except when i try to set up my music store account in itunes, or authorize the purchased music on my computer. i get this error:
"iTunes could not connect to the Music Store. An unknown error occurred (-25294). Make sure your network connection is active and try again."
i've turned off the built-in firewall and emailed apple - their suggestion was that charter is using a proxy server that's blocking access. charter just emailed me that they don't use proxy servers. the connection to charter is a straightforward DHCP server setting.
any ideas on what i should do next - reinstall the application ? delete the preferences file ?
