Virtual PC + OSX + Visual Studio C++ ?

Hi,



I was wondering if anyone has run Virtual PC on OSX w/ Windows XP & Visual Studio C++ ?



Has anyone had any experience with this sort of combination? I would expect them to work of course but i'd just like to be sure.

Kickaha and Amorph couldn't moderate themselves out of a paper bag. Abdicate responsibility and succumb to idiocy. Two years of letting a member make personal attacks against others, then stepping aside when someone won't put up with it. Not only that but go ahead and shut down my posting priviledges but not the one making the attacks. Not even the common decency to abide by their warning (afer three days of absorbing personal attacks with no mods in sight), just shut my posting down and then say it might happen later if a certian line is crossed. Bullshit flag is flying, I won't abide by lying and coddling of liars who go off-site, create accounts differing in a single letter from my handle with the express purpose to decieve and then claim here that I did it. Everyone be warned, kim kap sol is a lying, deceitful poster.



Now I guess they should have banned me rather than just shut off posting priviledges, because kickaha and Amorph definitely aren't going to like being called to task when they thought they had it all ignored *cough* *cough* I mean under control. Just a couple o' tools.

if you are doing software dev, buy a cheap pc and virtual c++ 6 or dotnet(.net). if you are compileing software you might want to do it on a native wintel/winamd box ~ so you get the exact compile nessesary to run on a wintel box, not some software emulator, esspeacualy now that M$ makes that too

then take the c++ source and other files (as long as theres no VB scripts) throw it into xcode, make the nessasary changes for aqua interface - and VWALLA! a cross platform app!

If you need to use Visual Studio, either find a cheap PC at a garage sale, or get one of those really cheap Dells.

Thanks for all the replies. Really appreciate the input.



At the moment, I won't really be able to buy another cheap PC or anything like that. But my dad bought a copy of VPC 6 and I was wondering if that would run Visual Studio C++ on it fine on my 15 tiBook(1ghz,1gig ram). I'll probably give it a shot, but I just wanted to ask beforehand to know what to expect.
