I love Ghost Recon, but Raven Shield is more realistic. I like realism, so UT sucks for me.

the reason i love UT so much is because i think the levels are really cool, as are the weapons, and the characters are totally skinnable

Deus Ex, hands down. But then again, I like the strategy aspects of it more than I like the FPS aspects of it (given that a silenced siper rifle was quite possibly my favorite weapon).

i'd say we played way more Counter-Strike at LAN parties than anything else. if you can't make fun of the person you just blasted, what's the point of an FPS?

Kickaha and Amorph couldn't moderate themselves out of a paper bag. Abdicate responsibility and succumb to idiocy. Two years of letting a member make personal attacks against others, then stepping aside when someone won't put up with it. Not only that but go ahead and shut down my posting priviledges but not the one making the attacks. Not even the common decency to abide by their warning (afer three days of absorbing personal attacks with no mods in sight), just shut my posting down and then say it might happen later if a certian line is crossed. Bullshit flag is flying, I won't abide by lying and coddling of liars who go off-site, create accounts differing in a single letter from my handle with the express purpose to decieve and then claim here that I did it. Everyone be warned, kim kap sol is a lying, deceitful poster.

Now I guess they should have banned me rather than just shut off posting priviledges, because kickaha and Amorph definitely aren't going to like being called to task when they thought they had it all ignored *cough* *cough* I mean under control. Just a couple o' tools.

Don't worry, as soon as my work resetting my posts is done I'll disappear forever.

I liked the dynamic of UT. The weapons were the best part. At least two, maybe more, ways to use them all. All had some sort of combination range accuracy blast radius ability to kill around obstacles. It really added to the skill and strategy of the game for me.

UT, Bond, and Perfect Dark! Honorable mention of Wolfenstein because it was so cool back in the day.

I personally like RTCW. I have Halo also, but find RTCW to be better in almost every respect. Also have played Rainbow6, Rogue Spear, Medal of Honor, but always fall back on RTCW.

    No... sorry.

When I did play Halo Trial I used the name: SlackMeUp or Jonathon... (Jonathon is my name)

But that was way back when I used windows for my main OS...

Now I am Linux only on my PC (I took the plunge and nuked my Windows installation, that was like 3-4 months ago)... and I don't think MS will port anytime soon.

So if Halo ever comes out for Linux (which it will not, stupid DX game) or if it comes out for OS 8.6 and is "play-able" on a 333 G3 then I might just login as \\/\\/arthog.

    Anyway...

UT prior to the 2003 version . . . . online gaming with mods like low-grav and silent sniper with team deathmatch are absolutely great fun and a sure way to stay up way too late!!

there is still a large large community of online players who won't move up to 2003 or 2004 because the original UT feel is so good

and by the way Quake is just UT with bad maps and skins and worse play . . .
