Any Torontonians try Buffalo for iMacs?
Local dealers say it's another 6-8 weeks for the iMac. And that's for the Superdrive model.
Do Apple Retail stores receive stock first? If so, might it be best to call and try them?
Buffalo (Walden Galleria Mall) is only a 2 1/2 hour drive away. Anyone in Torontonians try this approach?
thanks

so, for those of you in the T.O. area, get your asses to Buffalo and get an iMac ... consider yourself lucky
What about Buffalonians? Honestly, I don't know what they've got, since I haven't been there in a couple of weeks.

I purchased a superdrive on March 8th at the Galleria store after waiting for Macconnection since Jan. 25th.. To make a short story long, I catalog-ordered for the extra memory (256 MB) and the lack of sales tax (big savings). After three promised ship dates came and went, I called the Apple Store on March 8th. They had 16 in stock and would hold one for me that day. I made the trip immediately after school, picked up my sweet new machine, and have loved life ever since.
