I was checking Xlr8yourmac today, and found this following link-

Full speed at up to 15 miles in the perfect conditions as noted here-

Incredible! Now all I need to do is pick up an old Prime Star Antenna... My school is only ~2.4 miles away, and I think I could possibly get away with setting something like this up, depending on exactly how directional it would be. (I know it would be quite a lot dependent on that) But if I could get it set up so it worked in one of my classrooms... We do have a network at school, and a teacher even set up a base station, but I believe he has it encrypted. When I get my TiBook in a few weeks, I may attempt to set this up. I will post my results here.

10 miles. and it says you need 2, one to send and one to recieve. have you ever set something like this up before? it is incredibly line of sight bound. the dishes have to link up almost perfectly or else it just won't work. still cool though...
