I don't know about you, but I think that their strict belief in minimalist non-digital music is such a breath of fresh air on the stale music industry. For the vast majority of their songs it's just Jack on guitar and Meg on drums. Yet they are able to create so much sound and warmth with just the three parts.

    They're pretty cool. They use some keyboards so it's not as minimalist, but if you like music that sounds like Target commercials you should check out The (International) Noise Conspiracy. Another awesome band that I was kind of surprised to find on iTMS, more rock and roll sounding, is Murder City Devils. Good stuff.

    White Stripes . . . . i don't get it . . . what's all the hype over mediocre rock music that sounds just like mediocre rock music has sounded since 1970?!?!

    The White Strips are pretty good IMHO. Am I the only one who thinks that they need some sun?
