I am running Panther.

I want to make a second User account on my computer that uses a home folder that is on my University's network.

I can access the university network via ssh or AFS.

The university's macs running Jaguar load the network home folder anytime someone logs in. So I know it's possible. I just wonder how.

help?

Use NetInfo Manager to change a user's home directory.

There is no reason (that I'm aware of) that it shouldn't work for Jag and Panther. You shouldn't have any problems with it.
